The Mexican Institute of Industrial Property participates in the "Head of Intellectual Property Office Conference” in its Southeast Asian Phase “I”, held in Japan.
Mexico, represented by the LLM. Margáin Miguel Angel Gonzalez, Managing Director of the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property, is the only country in Latin America invited to this event, which takes place from June 29 and ends on July the 5th. 
One of the main objectives of the Director of the IMPI with his participation in the conference is the exchange of experiences and actions achieved in our country, within the field of industrial property.
The leaders of the Industrial Property Offices, who attend the event, participate in expositions, lectures and conferences. During his turn, LLM. Miguel Angel Margáin spoke about the implementation of new technologies developed by the IMPI to benefit its users; he shared with the audience that the IMPI guarantees high quality services with the mission to be at the height of the best offices in the world.
“These meetings allow to capitalize on the effort and share best practices and mechanisms that other worldwide level IPOs operate, reaching out to learn their views on issues of patents and trademarks, which provide valuable benefits to our Institute", concluded Margáin.
