With the aim of spreading the culture of product protection for the creative industry (CI) through the Intellectual Property and Copyright the Third State Intellectual Property Forum is held today.
"The Creative Industry trigger for a better cultural and economic environment," is taking place in the University of Guadalajara’s Auditorium, “Enrique Diaz de Leon”.
"These are two things that led us to organize the forum this way: first, all the events that we have made during the year on Intellectual Property the Creative Industry is part of that area; and second, is to spread the culture of the creative industry as a trigger for a better cultural and economic environment in the regions of Mexico, "says Jesus Eric Fernandez Garcia, head of Intellectual Property of the Executive Vice Presidency, Coordination Linking and Social Service Unit Liaison and Outreach , who is the General Coordinator of the Third State Forum of  Intellectual Property.
But what are the basic principles that will be discussed during the presentations and the panel at the event to be held in the auditorium of the University of Guadalajara? The event coordinator shares them with us:

1. - Knowing what the creative industry is, since there is a lot of confusion about it.

2. - Find out what are our rights as creative people, especially in the field of copyright and industrial property to recognize and exercise them.

3. - To the extent that we recognize those rights , we must take on the responsibility to respect the rights of third parties , of course I mean creative people and also to avoid unfair competition and piracy consumption

4. - Knowing what are features needed for the monetizing of the Creative Industry.

5. - How to market from an effective and strategic protection of the products that come from the Creative Industry.

"It is quite varied ,according to the UNESCO, Creative Industries are all the companies that revolve around ideas that become intangible assets of companies, such as, Copyrights, photographs, movies, books, design, software, mobile applications , it is actually very ample environment for the Creative Industry. Even the craft enters into the Creative Industry field; we must mention that Mexico is recognized for its crafts, Jalisco is one of the most important craft producers, this means we have a big opportunity area”, says Fernandez Garcia.
